ABOUT DR. ADAM
Dr. Stewart I Adam III is a board certified otolaryngologist-head and neck surgeon. He has practiced in the greater Dayton area since 2014 and most recently with Premier Health from 2016-2025. Dr. Adam is very excited to be opening Greater Dayton Ear, Nose, and Throat, an independent private practice, designed to continue delivering the highest quality, personalized medical and surgical care to the population and communities constituting the area.
Dr. Adam’s practice includes all aspects of ear, nose, and throat disorders and he enjoys treating patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics and everyone in between.
Dr. Adam performs a wide range of surgical procedures and is well-versed in the most up-to-date medical and minimally invasive surgical treatments. He has particular interest in treating chronic sinus conditions, allergy, nasal and upper airway obstruction, functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty, chronic ear disease and hearing restorative surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, pediatric otolaryngology, maxillofacial trauma, sleep surgery, and diagnosis and treatment of head and neck cancer.
Dr. Adam is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is a fellow member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Adam has a significant number of peer reviewed articles and book chapters published in the otolaryngology and medical literature. He has given talks and presentations at various regional and national meetings.
Dr. Adam graduated with honors from Dartmouth College and received his MD from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He went on to complete his surgery internship, otolaryngology-head and neck surgery training, and chief residency at Yale-New Haven Medical Center, part of Yale University School of Medicine.
Dr. Adam enjoys spending time with his wife and six children. He receives much gratification by participating in the kids’ activities and sporting events.
Dr. Adam finds balance through attempts at physical exercising, particularly cycling and resistance training.
Dr. Adam has been on staff at nearly every hospital in the Greater Dayton area. He is currently affiliated with both the Premier and Kettering Health systems.
